Gleason Archer

[1916 – 2004] B.A., A.M., PhD (Harvard University); B.D. (Princeton Theological Seminary), LLB (Suffolk University Law School). Archer was an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church, USA and served as Professor of Biblical Languages and Acting Dean at Fuller Seminary. He was also Professor of Old Testament and Semitics and Chair of the Old Testament Department at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Archer co-authored “A Theological Workbook of the Old Testament” and was involved in the ASV and NIV translations of the Bible. Archer was a well known biblical inerrantist.
