Joslin “Josh” McDowell (born 1939). Undergraduate degree (Wheaton College), M.Div. (Talbot Theological Seminary). As a college student, McDowell says he considered himself an agnostic until he was challenged to intellectually examine the claims of Christianity. During that endeavor, McDowell discovered evidence for the reliability of the Christian faith which compelled him to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior. After his conversion, McDowell’s plans for law school turned to plans to tell a doubting world about the truth of Jesus Christ. McDowell worked for Campus Crusade for Christ until starting his own apologetics ministry, Josh McDowell Ministry (www.josh.org)
