A natural explanation is one that is limited to something occurring under the laws of nature (as opposed to the supernatural which means “beyond nature”). Naturalists maintain that nothing exists beyond the natural; nature is all there is. Therefore, proponents of naturalism do not believe in supernatural things such as the existence of God or miracles. In contrast, Christianity teaches the existence of God, a transcendent being who exists beyond the natural and who is responsible for bringing everything else that exists into existence.
