B.S. in physics and a Ph.D. in astrophysics (Iowa State University). In addition to serving as a research scholar for an apologetics ministry by the name of Reasons to Believe (www.reasons.org), as of 2012, Zweerink also held a research position at UCLA where he participated in the Solar Two Project and the Whipple Collaboration. Zweerink is an Old Earth Creationist.
