Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus’ original 12 disciples. He is infamously known for betraying Jesus for 30 pieces of silver which he received from the chief priests in exchange for leading them to Jesus at night. After Judas identified Jesus with a kiss, Jesus was arrested, put on trial at night and executed by way of crucifixion. After Jesus was condemned, Judas committed suicide.
