In 2017 Sarah Yeomans was still the Director of Educational Programs at the Biblical Archaeology Society and was pursuing her doctorate at the University of Southern California specializing in the Imperial period of the Roman Empire with an emphasis on religions and ancient science. She was also a faculty member in the Department of Religious Studies at West Virginia University.
